 Description

It would be nice if there was a link to latest nightly build on the web page. I'm sure TeamCity allows permalinks to latest successful build's artifacts.

Have a look at: http://gradle.org/snapshots.html

Yup, I know about this page. It's just it would be nice to have a downloadable, permalink to latest succesful nightly artifacts. So I can just click and get latest gradle without getting down to playing with teamcity.

It's just for your consideration - I can help myself with teamcity but you know... it would be nice to have

Now I understand. I think this is a good idea.

It is possible to link to the latest artifacts section. But we haven't found a way yet to provide a link to the latest file. We use our own timestamps and there is no pattern matching way that teamcity provides. Therefore I postpone this to 1.0.

I ran into this issue yesterday. The actual links for latest docs refer to 0.9.1. Since 0.9.2 is released, the next version is a 1.0 milestone and Hans' last comment is about 9 month old we may put this back on the agenda? Related to this, is it possible to load snapshot builds (e.g. nightly builds) to gradles artifactory repository? this would be very helpful.

@Rene This is a good idea. We should do that I think. That would also enable a solution for this issue I think.

@Rene Could you file another issue for your proposal?

Latest snapshots in artifactory are accessed from: http://gradle.org/downloads.html

Latest docs are available from: http://gradle.org/documentation.html

I don't think we should resolve this until the "latest docs" link actually points to something that is published on a regular basis. If you look at the documentation link, it points to the documentation for a snapshot of 0.9.1.

yeah I know, I fixed that today but was waiting for the build complete to push... sorry got too rash in resolving.
