Currently the POM generated by Gradle is minimalistic, restricting itself to the necessary and the dependencies. It would be nice if there was some way of adding fileds that would normally appear in a manually generated POM: description, licences, scm, etc. This information is really just comment for the build but it would be good to have it available so as to make Gradle more of a drop in replacement for Maven.
