Description |
When locale is Turkish and we try to determine the type of console output, we use the current JVM locale to convert the user arguments into lower case. With --console=PLAIN, we convert PLAIN to lowercase. This is plaın (note the dotless i) and then we capitalize it (Plaın). This doesn't match any enum values in ConsoleOutput. Similarly, when we send arguments to Javadoc, we make them lowercase in EnumJavadocOptionFileOption. This call to toLowerCase is sensitive to the current locale, so JavadocOutputLevel.QUIET becomes quıet. Workaround is to explicitly set the locale of the JVM to an english locale. |

As announced on the Gradle blog we are planning to completely migrate issues from JIRA to GitHub. We intend to prioritize issues that are actionable and impactful while working more closely with the community. Many of our JIRA issues are inactionable or irrelevant. We would like to request your help to ensure we can appropriately prioritize JIRA issues you’ve contributed to. Please confirm that you still advocate for your JIRA issue before December 10th, 2016 by:
We look forward to collaborating with you more closely on GitHub. Thank you for your contribution to Gradle! |
