With Gradle 2.11, or 2.12, a path that has a directory named '#' (in this case, it's a npm module directory) is no longer makes it into packages in our packing plugin

This is a general problem with any exclude patterns that have the form of "<something>*<something>". There are two built-in Ant exclude patterns like this:


Gradle 2.11 and 2.12 will not copy files from paths that are just # or %.
