Description |
I have attempted to use BuildLauncher.setStandardInput to provide the ability for the user in NetBeans to provide input for the script. However, I have noticed, that the input provided by the above mentioned InputStream is not available for the script until the InputStream returns EOF. EOF is never normally sent, since that would prevent the user to provide additional input. To reproduce the problem call "System.in.read()" in a task of a build script, and provide an InputStream for BuildLauncher.setStandardInput which never returns EOF. The read method will block and wait forever. The expected behaviour is that the read method returns after providing even a single byte. |

As announced on the Gradle blog we are planning to completely migrate issues from JIRA to GitHub. We intend to prioritize issues that are actionable and impactful while working more closely with the community. Many of our JIRA issues are inactionable or irrelevant. We would like to request your help to ensure we can appropriately prioritize JIRA issues you’ve contributed to. Please confirm that you still advocate for your JIRA issue before December 10th, 2016 by:
We look forward to collaborating with you more closely on GitHub. Thank you for your contribution to Gradle! |
