Users may mistakenly try and create a task via something like...

task(type: Copy, foo: "bar")

Because of the task(Object) method (which toString's param and uses it as the task name), this is effectively...

task([type: Copy, foo: "bar"].toString())

Which can be difficult to debug.

As announced on the Gradle blog we are planning to completely migrate issues from JIRA to GitHub.
