Caching the DAG is technological difficult or impossible right now (Closure can't be serialized, any object in the tree needs to be serializable). It also takes any dynamic out of the build script. We focus on othe aspects to improve performance. See for example: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GRADLE-144 |
