 Description   

I have the following setup.

gradle is called from some location outside the multiproject build. The root of the multiproject build has a Grade directory with the build.gradle and the settings.gradle.

I call the project with: gradle -c<path-to-settings.gradle> clean

In the settings.gradle I gonna set the rootdir like: rootProject.projectDir = rootDir.parentFile
This changes the rootdir for the settings.gradle.

Printing out the root dir in build.gradle yields: projectRoot/Gradle. It should be projectRoot.

Thanks again for reporting this issue. We haven't heard back from you after our inquiry from November 15th. We are closing this issue now. Please create an issue on GitHub if you still feel passionate about getting it resolved.
