 Description   

Gradle on Debian unstable fails to run if TERM is not set.

Gradle should see if TERM is set and only then do the scrolling tricks. If TERM is not set Gradle should still run but without the scrolling tricks.

Gradle still cannot cope with TERM not being defined.
