Could you clarify what you mean by this a bit?
How might it look?

myProp = 'value1'
version = 'value2'

version is a build in property of the project object. myProp is a property introduce by this specific build script. This is hard to derive from reading the build script.

As announced on the Gradle blog we are planning to completely migrate issues from JIRA to GitHub.
