Description |
Initially reported at zendesk: http://support.gradleware.com/tickets/1024 It would be good if gradle dependencies included additional information (in ivy terms):
Examples of ivy xmls that include above information: <metadata-artifact status="successful" details="" size="853" time="48" location="xxx" searched="true" original-local-location="xxx" origin-is-local="false" origin-location="http://myserver.com/xxx/ivy.xml"/> <caller organisation="tripwire.com" name="teagent" conf="rtmppk" rev="1.0.0" rev-constraint-default="1.0.0" rev-constraint-dynamic="1.0+" callerrev="8.1.0"/> |

Can we close this now? |

I'm not sure because the user also wanted the origin-location. I assume that 'rev-constraint-dynamic' is what we already show in the dependency reports (requested->selected) since Gradle 1.2. Watchers/voters, can we close this ticket now? |

As announced on the Gradle blog we are planning to completely migrate issues from JIRA to GitHub. We intend to prioritize issues that are actionable and impactful while working more closely with the community. Many of our JIRA issues are inactionable or irrelevant. We would like to request your help to ensure we can appropriately prioritize JIRA issues you’ve contributed to. Please confirm that you still advocate for your JIRA issue before December 10th, 2016 by:
We look forward to collaborating with you more closely on GitHub. Thank you for your contribution to Gradle! |

Thanks again for reporting this issue. We haven't heard back from you after our inquiry from November 15th. We are closing this issue now. Please create an issue on GitHub if you still feel passionate about getting it resolved. |
