Today on the Gradle mailing list:

>Hmmm, if eclipse complains about the default output directory you can
>change it with something like that in your build.gradle:

>eclipseClasspath

{ > defaultOutputDir = file('some/nicer/place') >}

Currently the tooling API doesn't provide info on the output folder. It would be nice if it would pass on this information somehow. (Currently STS Gradle plugin lacks this information and always uses the default).

As announced on the Gradle blog we are planning to completely migrate issues from JIRA to GitHub.
