[GRADLE-1405] Documentation of execution rules for multi-projects builds doesn't mention flat project structures Created: 27/Feb/11 Updated: 10/Feb/17 Resolved: 10/Feb/17
Section 36.3 of the user guide (Execution rules for multi-project builds) doesn't mention anything about running a sub-project of a multi-project build that has a flat directory structure. The important point to note is that the settings file must be in a sibling directory named 'master'. This is documented in section 35.4, which seems like the wrong place for it. At the least, 36.3 should link to 35.4.

As announced on the Gradle blog we are planning to completely migrate issues from JIRA to GitHub.
We intend to prioritize issues that are actionable and impactful while working more closely with the community. Many of our JIRA issues are inactionable or irrelevant. We would like to request your help to ensure we can appropriately prioritize JIRA issues you’ve contributed to.
Please confirm that you still advocate for your JIRA issue before December 10th, 2016 by:
We look forward to collaborating with you more closely on GitHub. Thank you for your contribution to Gradle!
