Description |
You usually need a build script for your nightly build but also for your favourite IDE. It would be great if you could generate the project for your favourite IDE, mine is Netbeans. The most important thing is to get your classpath right. |

I have written a NetBeans plugin to open Gradle projects, so I don't think that this feature is needed anymore. The plugin is available here: https://github.com/kelemen/netbeans-gradle-project or if you only care for the binary, here: http://plugins.netbeans.org/plugin/44510/gradle-support |

As announced on the Gradle blog we are planning to completely migrate issues from JIRA to GitHub. We intend to prioritize issues that are actionable and impactful while working more closely with the community. Many of our JIRA issues are inactionable or irrelevant. We would like to request your help to ensure we can appropriately prioritize JIRA issues you’ve contributed to. Please confirm that you still advocate for your JIRA issue before December 10th, 2016 by:
We look forward to collaborating with you more closely on GitHub. Thank you for your contribution to Gradle! |

The built-in NetBeans IDE plugin works great. There won't be any functionality in Gradle core for it. |
