[GRADLE-1104] Ant used for ant.importBuild() should have a clean classpath Created: 11/Aug/10 Updated: 10/Feb/17 Resolved: 10/Feb/17 |

Description |
At the moment, Ant is loaded in the same classloader as the Gradle API, Gradle impl, Groovy, Ivy and their dependencies. This can cause collisions when the imported build uses different versions of those classes (for example, if the build happens to be using a different version of Ivy to the one that Gradle is using). We should clean up the classpath visible to Ant, so that it contains the same things that it would if Ant were run from the command-line. This would also allow the IsolatedAntBuilder to share the same Ant version. |

As announced on the Gradle blog we are planning to completely migrate issues from JIRA to GitHub. We intend to prioritize issues that are actionable and impactful while working more closely with the community. Many of our JIRA issues are inactionable or irrelevant. We would like to request your help to ensure we can appropriately prioritize JIRA issues you’ve contributed to. Please confirm that you still advocate for your JIRA issue before December 10th, 2016 by:
We look forward to collaborating with you more closely on GitHub. Thank you for your contribution to Gradle! |
